I was reading in December's Ensign and started with President Monson's message. He quoted David O. McKay who said,
"...the Christmas spirit is the Christ spirit."
Then President Monson said,
"To catch the real meaning of the 'spirit of Christmas,' we need only drop the last syllable, and it becomes the 'Spirit of Christ.'"
This time of year is magical to people of all different backgrounds and religions. I think everyone senses something "different" and people are generally more kind and giving. The good that comes at Christmas time is just a small portion of Christ's influence in this world. If the celebration of His birth ellicits such a strong spirit, I can only imagine what it would be like if I lived in celebration EACH DAY of his life and mission. That warm cozy feeling is a testimony of Christ's divinity!
