Let Him Do It with Simplicity

This was one of my favorite talks given by Elder L. Tom Perry. He says,

"One of the challenges of this mortal experience is to not allow the stresses and strains of life to get the better of us - to endure the varied seasons of life while remaining positive, even optimistic."

And what were his recommendations to accomplish this?

"In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives."

Elder Perry acknowledged that, while we need to know ABOUT God's eternal plan, we also need to know our ROLE in that plan. Until we apply the simple points of the gospel in our own lives, we are not going to have the relief that we all yearn for. The best way to simplify, in my opinion, is to apply gospel principles.
