Broken Things to Mend

For Christmas Jon gave me the book "Broken Things to Mend" by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. I am excited to read and share.

On the dedicatory page it says:

"To all who feel that someone - or something - they love is irreparably broken or irretrievably lost. It is not."

There have been a lot of tragedies as of late. A lot of them have been deaths, but there are hardships in other forms too. It was so refreshing to remember in just the first few pages of this book that any hurt, disappointment, anxiety, and suffering is understood by the One that has walked the same road. And He is there for us. He is there to help us Heal.
