"Righteousness increases the uniqueness of our presence, but sin sinks us into sameness."
I see this so much in the world...and in people I love. They want to be "different" and try to do so by reducing their standards. Many times you can see this in the way that people dress, but I think this applies to the way people act too. What I always try to remember is that my best, unique self is always going to shine through when my mind and spirit are free. And our best is often better than we even know.
